Have never met or spoken over the phone, Nicollette & Joseph chose us as the photographer for their wedding at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. They knew us from their friends, whose weddings we had the opportunity to capture a few years ago. We always love to see our former couples, to shake hands and to see the change they have in their life, from being a couple to being husband & wife, and now, a FAMILY.
Even though we always recommend our couples to do First Look, some of them want to keep the beautiful moment when they walk down the aisle. So instead, they do First Touch. Their First Touch was the first moment we saw them together. We immediately felt how emotional and nervous they were. Joseph couldn’t hold his happy tears back when Nichollette walked down the aisle. Not only we found a strong connection between them, we found it among their wedding party of 19 people. Although 19 people is a large number to manage, they put them together so well and every single one of them did enjoy.
There was one thing they said that we still remember: “We haven’t done this [intimate poses] in front of strangers!” We understand that fear as we would feel the same way ourselves. However, we managed to capture those intimate moments with some of the simplest tricks. And their portraits, especially the sunset ones, are full of joy and happiness.
This wedding wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t have great help from the talented vendors whom we want to say special thanks to.
