Durian can be a great challenge way to start a door game. And that was what we saw at Julian & Henry’s wedding at Palm Event Center. Some groomsmen took it pretty easy, while some had a tough time getting through it. FYI, durian is one of my favorites.
This wedding was a real mix of Vietnamese and American cultures. We could feel the emotion, the formality of a Vietnamese tea ceremony and the fun part of an American wedding. As we always know, the most emotional moment was when Henry & Julian gave tea and said “Thanks” to their parents. Then, when it came to other relatives, their emotions quickly changed.
This wedding was also unique in a way that we did all the portraits, including the sunset portraits BEFORE the ceremony even started. We didn’t know what happened to the sky on that day but we couldn’t ask for more. Really, we have been to Palm Event Center many times and this was the first time we experience such beautiful sunsets. That glorious red made up many epic sunset photos.
Thanks to all the amazing vendors working at Palm Even Center, the whole wedding ran smoothly without any hiccup. The decoration was on point and the candle iron chandelier helped us capture some amazing first dance shots.
