I always enjoy doing weddings at Saratoga Springs for its lovely venue, beautiful lighting. This time, this Saratoga Springs wedding was so special to me. When Phyllis asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was thrilled. I’ve met her many years ago since I started photography when I was doing fashion and she was occasionally modeling. That changed my career in one way or another, giving me the chance to know some talented artists in the wedding business, who had strong impacts on my passion. Then, I stopped fashion and got into wedding photography while she did less modeling, focusing on her volleyball. So, we hadn’t met each other for a while. One thing led to another. Five years later, I’m here to capture the most precious day of her life.
Phyllis & Ray’s Saratoga Springs wedding was inspired by Disney theme since they are fans of Disney. Just look at their wedding decoration and you’ll know. She sent me a photo of sparklers that they would love to have and we planned for it. Even though I’ve done many sparklers exits, I searched more to pick up any new trick, put down a sparklers exit guide, making sure we got it perfect. It paid off. We got it with only one try. It is the last photo of this wedding.
Phyllis was so happy in her own way. She laughed A LOT. They really enjoyed their wedding without worrying too much about anything. One thing I’m glad that they did was to have their wedding at Saratoga Springs. Four times I worked there, four times everything went smoothly. For this, I have to give credit to Sam, the coordinator, who managed every aspect of the wedding flawlessly and took care of all vendors.
